A HUGE Congratulations to Mr. Larry Tausch! 

Northwest’s very own is headed into an exciting new chapter — and we couldn’t be prouder! Mr. Tausch will be serving as the new Superintendent for Canton Local Schools, and while our hearts are a little heavy to see such a strong and impactful leader go, our spirits are soaring with pride for all that lies ahead for him!

As our high school principal, Mr. Tausch has made an incredible and lasting difference in the lives of our students, staff, and families. His leadership, vision, compassion, and commitment have left a mark that won’t soon be forgotten. From championing student success to supporting staff through every challenge and triumph — he’s been the heart of our building.

Though Canton South is gaining a phenomenal new superintendent, we know his Northwest legacy will live on. And don’t worry — we’ll be cheering him on from just a few miles down the road!
